Booking terms
Prices
All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST. The price shown when you book is the price you pay for that service. If we find the job needs more, we tell you before going on and you decide. Extra time on a Home Tech Visit is $30 per 15 minutes, only with your OK. Equipment and parts are extra, at a price written on the job sheet.
No fix, no fee
If we can't fix the problem, you don't pay for the visit. Parts and equipment already supplied are still paid for.
Travel
Travel is included within about 12 km of Magill by road. Further out, a flat zone fee shown at booking applies. Outside our zones we confirm a travel fee before the visit.
Changes and cancellations
Change or cancel free with at least 24 hours' notice. Repeated late cancellations may need prepayment for future bookings.
Your data
Before we start, your important data should be backed up, or you accept the risk of data loss. We will help you back up first if you like. We do not keep your passwords. We never log into your banking, never move money and never buy anything on your behalf. Equipment is only suggested when it is the fix, at a written price.
Business packs
Packs need a 50% deposit to start and the balance on handover. Websites include two rounds of changes. Online shops, booking systems and custom apps are quoted separately. We never guarantee search rankings.
Monthly plans
Care and business plans are month to month by direct debit, with 30 days' notice to cancel.
Gift vouchers
Each voucher is worth $129 toward home tech services and is valid for 3 years from purchase; the expiry date is printed on it. Vouchers are not redeemable for cash and any unused balance on a single visit is not refunded.
What we don't do
We don't install or advise on security cameras, video doorbells or alarms (South Australia requires a security agent's licence), in-wall cabling (needs ACMA registration) or hard-wired electrical work. We refer those to licensed specialists.
Your consumer rights
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
